On Question 33 of the Spanish edition only of the Grade 7 Mathematics Test, the phrase less than was translated as less. As a result, students who used this edition may have written the wrong algebraic expression or may have been unable to answer this question.
To adjust for this, any student who used the Spanish edition, either exclusively or in conjunction with the English edition, will be given credit for Question 33. This adjustment in scoring will be made by CTB/McGraw-Hill for students who used the Spanish edition of this test. Schools do not need to make any revision when scoring the responses for these students, and should continue to score this question according to the instructions for the Mathematics Test, Grade 7, 2008 Scoring Guide Part 1.
