Late Application Procedures

SCS Late Applicant Procedures

After the initial auditions for the NYSSSA School of Choral Studies have been completed, we accept late applicants. Please send a recorded audition of a solo selection that best demonstrates your capabilities. The tape or compact disk should be no more than ten minutes in length. We also need a written estimate of your sight reading ability from your music instructor. A copy of a recent NYSSMA solo sheet may be used to document sight reading capability. Students with a current NYSSMA Level VI Solo Evaluation Sheet indicating a high level of performance may submit this for admission purposes in lieu of an audition tape.

You must also cpomlete and submit an SCS Application Form.

The tape or CD, written recommendation (or NYSSMA Solo Sheet), and completed application form should be sent to:
